After sketching, the designer hand-carved a rubber plate and used traditional letterpress printing techniques for a limited print run. The blank areas of the postcard, such as the small dessert illustrations and the background, can be directly colored with art supplies like watercolors or colored pencils. The block printing ink used for printing is oil-based and water-resistant once dry. A gentle reminder: The color of the line art may vary from batch to batch.
