Vegetable-tanned leather is known for its firm and durable texture. Combined with the natural oils from your hands and daily wear, the leather develops a lustrous patina. This unique transformation, shaped by time and your usage, is precisely what appeals to many handmade leather enthusiasts. Farmers do not typically prioritize protecting the animals' skin. Consequently, cows may bear marks from insect bites, scratches, or thorns. Free-roaming cattle might also have brand marks, and as they grow, their skin develops natural lines and wrinkles. In some cases, scars from C-sections to assist with difficult births may also be present. During the process of slaughtering for meat, skinning can also result in knife marks. These marks are faithfully preserved in the finished leather, bearing witness to the animal's life. Custom fonts can be specified. ▴ Engraving area is up to 60mm x 12mm, with a fee of NT$150. ▴ Laser engraving uses a high-temperature laser beam to burn the surface of the leather. The resulting text will have a burnt appearance. Therefore, this service is not suitable for dark-colored leathers such as black or deep blue. ▴ Some items require laser engraving during production. For ready-made items, please contact customer service to confirm production timelines as a separate order will be necessary. 🌞 Care and Maintenance -------------------- Frequent use is the best form of maintenance. Avoid exposing the leather to humid environments. If the leather becomes wet, immediately wipe it dry with a cloth and allow it to air dry in a cool, ventilated area away from direct sunlight, which can cause hardening and damage. Once dry, apply leather conditioner to replenish oils and consider using a waterproof spray for protection against accidental spills. For storage or extended periods of non-use, place the item in a dehumidifying cabinet set to 50%-60% humidity to prevent mold. Alternatively, a sealed bag with a desiccant pack can achieve similar results. Upon order confirmation, items in stock will be shipped promptly. For items not in stock, production will commence based on order sequence. As all items are handmade, please allow ample time for creation. If you have specific delivery date requirements, please contact customer service before placing your order. 2. Our studio ships orders every Tuesday and Friday. In-stock items will be dispatched as soon as possible. For urgent delivery needs, please communicate with our customer service team prior to ordering. 3. Shipping options include SF Express (home delivery) for NT$80, or 7-11/FamilyMart store pickup for NT$60. 4. A one-year warranty from the date of purchase covers repairs and maintenance at our store. Repairs due to non-human factors are free of charge. After one year, free leather maintenance services are still provided, with a nominal fee for repairs. 5. We prefer to use natural leather materials. Our cowhide is minimally processed and finished with light surface treatments. Slight variations in color, texture, and natural marks are inherent. We cannot accommodate requests for "flawless" leather surfaces. Furthermore, items that have undergone custom engraving or laser etching are non-refundable unless there was a production error.
