Taoism is a prevalent and iconic religion in Taiwan, deeply influencing the daily lives of its people. Within Taoism, the "Jiao" (筊) is a tool used for communication with deities. After stating one's question or request, the Jiao is cast onto the ground; its orientation then reveals the deities' answer. This mini "Jiao" eraser merges religious belief with practical function, giving rise to this unique item. They dreamed big and discussed their design ideals, and amidst the camaraderie, they recognized the importance of staying true to certain principles. _ink was initiated by three members aspiring to make a difference in daily life. Through their works showcased at designer exhibitions, they began to share their life experiences. _ink: like drops of creative ink, spreading boundless imagination across ordinary life. "link" connects the deepest relationships between people and their lives. "kink" signifies the intertwining of design and life. "think" contemplates the subtle moments within life. Simple living, joyful living, and the colorful moments of smiles and surprises – this is _ink. Through ink, every small idea conceived in our minds can be transformed into words and images. Through _ink, we aspire to truly translate every small idea into reality in our lives! We also hope to collaborate with more creative inks in the future to jointly practice joyful living!
