Do not wash the silver polishing cloth. 〃 Gently brush with a toothbrush dipped in toothpaste or dish soap, with a little water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. 〃 When not wearing, wipe clean and store in a resealable bag or jewelry box to prevent oxidation from air exposure. 〃 Do not wear silver jewelry when visiting hot springs, as sulfur can cause silver to turn black. 〃 Soak the silver jewelry in a silver cleaning solution. After it whitens, remove it and rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. The jewelry will need polishing to prevent damage from repeated use of silver cleaning solution. 〃 Dip a soft cloth or cotton pad in a small amount of silver polish cream, rub it onto the jewelry surface, and rinse with clean water. 〃 Do not use silver cleaning solution on plated jewelry, as it may damage the item. 〃 Plated jewelry will still oxidize to varying degrees. When not wearing, be sure to store it in a resealable bag to isolate it from the air.
