Do not wash the silver polishing cloth. 〃 Gently brush with a toothbrush dipped in toothpaste or dish soap and a little water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. 〃 When not wearing, wipe clean and store in a zip-lock bag or jewelry box to prevent oxidation from air exposure. 〃 Do not wear silver jewelry when visiting hot springs, as sulfur will cause the silver to turn black. 〃 Soak silver jewelry in a silver cleaning solution. After it turns white, remove it and rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. The jewelry will need polishing to prevent damage from repeated use of silver cleaning solution. 〃 Use a soft cloth or cotton pad dipped in a small amount of silver polish, rub it onto the surface of the jewelry, and rinse with clean water. 〃 Do not use silver cleaning solution on plated jewelry, as it may damage the item.
