Iki (Yeeki / イキ) Chen, was born in Taiwan in 1987. She graduated from Dep. of Traditional Music of National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, then go to Japan to study Fashion Design in Tokyo Mode College since 2007. She is interested in two fields of art: music and design. One is to be a one of cellists of Taiwanese Doctoral Orchestra in Tokyo; the other is to be an official stuff as a mainly window for Chinese in Design Festa Gallery (Harajuku, Tokyo). This time, S.H.I.T. co-works with this girl who likes to use a brush and a mouse to keep a diary in Japan’s life and we come out this first designer series: Iki design series. We hope that more and more Taiwanese designers can be seen in the world.
