One day in 2009, "to record their" thoughts suddenly appeared in the artist's mind, but can not curb growth. Unlike countless number of other ways, he chose to record their own self-portrait in the form of a different state every day. Regardless of what the media or the size of the canvas, the only rule is only painted his own face. In order to make him look back at these self-portraits can aftertaste was feeling, he has painted almost 300 self-portraits.
About the artist:
Rex Koo was born in Hong Kong in 1977. He worked for more than ten years in graphic design. He was involved in a lot of the design work on the Local music album and movie posters. Rex think graphic design is sometimes cold, rational and preoccupied; but to give insight into the time or emotional, illogical and can be freely when painting.
