【Story】 A few month ago, I watched a video on youtube. It's a lecture about animal ethics by Liang WenDao(梁文道) and Qian Yongxiang(钱永祥). In the lecture, Mr. Liang mentioned a moment when an animal encounter a human. This encounter has been lingering in my mind, I began to imagine what happened in the first encounter between humans and some animals, so I painted this series of "Encounter", when the swan is just swan, deer is deer, not the Santa's reindeer, the horse is not ride by human, foxes will not be wrapped in the human's shoulders, and the camel don’t need to carry things for man. If this first encounter happened again, what will happen? Will their relationship between human be change today? What will happen the next second after their encounter? Will be a piece of stone thrown fast from human? Or will they play with each other?
