It generally requires dyeing twice for the color to be sufficiently saturated and beautiful. Only then can it be dewatered and air-dried. Every step influences the final outcome, which is why plant-dyed goods are so unique. Each piece is one of a kind. This women's T-shirt uses a "spider leg" tying method, with a heart shape sewn and tied at both the front and back. By utilizing two different mordants, the layered dyeing effect results in at least three color gradients.
