For example, after every 4-5 uses, open the cap to allow the inside of the bottle and the cap to dry completely. This can extend the life of the cork stopper. The connector at the end of the chain is a C-clasp. Pulling it forcefully can enlarge the opening and cause it to loosen. Please do not pull forcefully.
