The tanning process utilizes plant-derived tannins to preserve the leather's natural texture and feel. Vegetable-tanned leather will evolve over time through exposure to sunlight, touch, and use; its color will gradually deepen, and the surface will develop a richer luster. Each piece of leather carries its own unique grain and characteristics, slowly taking on a shape of its own after a period of use. Leather Care Genuine leather should be kept away from prolonged contact with water or rain. If it gets wet, please absorb the moisture with a clean cloth and air dry in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight or heat from hair dryers.
