The founder of Nala is the designer Lisette Scheers. Lisette was born in the Netherlands and was born in Singapore. She moved to Hong Kong for three years when she was eight years old. She then returned to the Netherlands and soon went to Malaysia to study in the middle school. She studied art in Belgium as an adult.
Lisette's multicultural background made her fascinated by her creations. She believed in many places. "If there is a past life, I will probably be a Chinese princess." She is eager to be a Chinese, and she can be regarded as a white heart. She believes that there are places where Chinese people live, and the aesthetic elements there are always wonderful. So Lisette began to study the patterns of Chinese porcelain, and absorbed inspiration from it, began to create a series of works, and founded the brand Nala Designs.
Nala Designs, the introduction of bags, skirts, notebooks, greeting cards, etc., color symbols are auspicious signs that Chinese people must understand, including ancient window frames, pattern tiles, ceramic utensils, bats, cocks, coins and so on. Lisette adjusts these elements into a modern style, making each design rich in color and unique in design. It is both warm and stylish, and it is brought to the body and placed in the home. There is a kind of unspeakable cheerfulness.
The brand Nala Designs has used the name of daughter Nala and is also infected by Eastern culture: "Family and heritage are the concepts and customs of Asians since ancient times. They know how to protect their children." Nala Designs is a gift from Lisette to her daughter. I hope that Nala will take over this small family business and grow it down.
Erick, a former Hong Kong resident of Lisette, did not forget to introduce the stationery created by the teacher when he was running the design store GLUE Associates in Hong Kong, and he worked together to create several bags.
