Hydrangeas (“Ajisai”, in Japanese) are popular ornamental plants, grown for their large flower heads. They are native to southern and eastern Asia, and the Americas, with the greatest species diversity in eastern Asia. Commonly seen in shades of pink, blue, purple, and green, the Atelier Shinji Hydrangea series is an ode to the purple variety, featuring small purple amethyst stones (also can be made with white freshwater pearls as a special order). The subtle cotton-like texture and matt finish gives this series a unique warmth and contemporary quality. These earrings are simply one hydrangea flower each. They are approximately 11mm x 11mm in size, and are available only as pierce (post type). Material: Britannia Silver 958 + Amethyst This piece is crafted with a base of Britannia Silver 958, a high purity silver which retains its bright color (unlike sterling silver which tarnishes easily). We provide a small zip lock bag in which we recommend to store your piece/s to keep them away from the air.
