These handmade porcelain earrings from the Black Heart Collection create a modern twist in the details. The black and pure white lines in the earrings are the result of stacking layers of dyed china clay (not drawn), with clean edges and lines, saturated and consistent in color. A thin layer of transparent glaze is applied on the surface of the earrings to add warmth. Each earring is handcrafted in small quantities by me from toning, sifting, stacking, sanding, glazing and two kiln firings.
