Human activities cause wetland degradation and loss by changing water quality, quantity, and flow rates; increasing pollutant inputs; and changing species composition as a result of disturbance and the introduction of nonnative species. This design was based on fiddler crabs in Tainan wetland, focusing on rousing every user to be able to respect the ecological preservation. Additionally, the design’s interventions could be distributed to the public through iPhone. This approach may increase the public’s awareness of the ecological preservation and save energy. Distinguishing Features of Design : 1. The ZIMMA’s pronunciation is based on Taiwanese “(crab)”. It is a product for saving energy. 2. Using the ZIMMA (cellphone’s speaker) in order to convey the concept of ecological preservation. 3. The design is marked by simple lines that highlight the abstract model of crabs. 4. Its internal loudspeaker is based on physical principle. ZIMMA the user can hear the caller loud and clear in the room. 5. The design is made of wood. These two horns can boost the sound of your iPhone without any electrical power and they can also adjust directions by individual. They produce a rich resonant sound. 6.
